Veterinary Jobs inMadison, CT

Our core focus: To provide competent and compassionate primary veterinary care to anyone wanting the best veterinary care possible for their animal family members.

What we’re all about

Our purpose is to provide competent and compassionate veterinary care. We will be competent and professional and hold to the utmost integrity. We will accomplish this by being highly trained and experienced. If we don’t know the answer, we will find it. We will send staff to CE to learn and experience more so they can bring new skills to the clinic. We will be respectful and professional to owners so they can trust us and follow through with the recommended treatments to help the patient.

We will be open, honest, and transparent with each other and our clients. We will explain diseases, costs, and expectations to know we are doing what is best for the patient and their family. We will offer several options for payment and encourage insurance for new pets to help alleviate the financial burden of a veterinary emergency. We will use innovation to keep efficient and open lines of communication with our patient’s families.

We will remain compassionate with our patients, their families, and each other. In addition, we remain compassionate with ourselves. We do this to prevent compassion fatigue because we know we went into the veterinary field to bring our whole hearts to work. This requires time off, pursuing hobbies, and spending time with people who love us to refuel the energy it takes to give everything to our patients.

We will be focused on teamwork as we encourage individual ability. We believe this is how the best team is created, and every patient deserves an entire team. We will be great team members to each other and ensure the health and wellness of thousands of dogs and cats. No matter how large our clinic may become, we will remain flexible, along with the vision to improve and save lives. We will do all of this while being kind: to our patients, to each other, to our clients, and ourselves.

Open positions:

Veterinary Technician

If you are certified, no experience is needed. If you are not certified, we require at least two years of experience working as a technician in general practice or specialty setting.

You will always work closely with a least one veterinary assistant, so you can accomplish the tasks required by your doctor and complete your primary responsibilities. Initially, these tasks will be related to Wellness Care and urgent daycare, but as our practice grows, it may include surgery and dentistry. We currently offer radiology, ultrasound, in-house lab work, emergency stabilization (for transport to an emergency clinic), and wellness care. You will communicate with clients, so a positive and calm demeanor is needed; enjoyment of teaching and sharing knowledge is a plus. You will not work weekends or be on-call.

Our goal is to help you thrive and grow in your career, and we will offer personalized CE depending on your interests. Let us know if you have or have developed a real passion for any aspect of being a veterinary technician, and we will help provide the resources to fuel your competency in that area. Please get in touch with us for a more detailed job description.
