Customer Service Representative (CSR)
CareFur Veterinarians is hiring a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Madison, CT!
We are a full-service general practice committed to high-quality care in a kind, collaborative, and supportive environment.
About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative to join our front desk team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for every pet owner who walks through our doors or calls our office.
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and check them in for appointments
- Answer phone calls, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage the daily appointment calendar
- Respond to client questions about services, pricing, and general pet care in a friendly and professional manner
- Process payments, manage invoices, and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate client and patient records in our practice management software
- Coordinate prescription refills and communicate with clients regarding test results and follow-up care as directed by veterinary staff
- Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming
- Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks as needed
Compensation:
💰 Starts at $19.00/hr – based on experience and skill level

What we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, customer-focused attitude
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with animals a plus
- Basic computer skills; experience with veterinary or medical practice management software is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Previous customer service or veterinary front desk experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
